This video teaches how to use the GeolOil Petrophysical Aliases Module. The use of unique aliases instead of diverse, non-unique mnemonics allows to establish a common nomenclature to handle equations, functions, and create plot templates for log tracks and full well log displays.

The aliases module has a comprehensive collection of default factory aliases, and also allows the user to add new aliases common to other well logs in a project. Once the aliases are paired with proper mnemonics in a well, GeolOil can guess and suggest curve number inputs for petrophysical equations.
